Chios is an interesting destination but we have issues with the airport capacity

Mr Georgios Siligardakis has a tourism operational program at Crete, Rhodes and other Greek islands

He has been invited by the Hotel Association so as to see in first hand and examine the possibilities to operate at the island of Chios

"I was excited", he comments, seeing the tourist infrastructure of the island, its beauties that offers possibilities for multi-faced tourist development

However we are facing a significant problem

Our partners tour operators uses aircrafts that carry up and over 180 passengers per flight

Unfortunately your airport does not have this infrastructure.

Mr. Siligardakis ended the interview by telling us that he will look the possibility to use different types of aircrafts but he cannot proceed to any commitments in regards to a potential program development in Chios.
